Senior Social Protection Specialist

Key
responsibilities and tasks:
·
Guide and
participate in the technical implementation of social protection agreements,
inhumane and related missions. This will include timely and high quality
delivery and participation in project outcomes (such as reports, policy
advocacy, training materials, etc.). Some assignments will require travel
abroad while others will consist of an office.
·
Strengthen
the reputation of development pathways as a thought leader in social security
by researching and publishing articles that provide development and up-to-date
information.
·
Strengthen
relationships with various stakeholders (ie governments, UN agencies, bilateral
development agencies, consultations, etc.) to strengthen the international
reputation of stakeholders. Influencing development and social security policy.
This will include representing development paths in international forums, such
as conferences and webinars.

Identify
opportunities for development paths to mission on social security and other
related areas of interest.
·
Help
develop funding proposals by providing technical input such as context,
methodology and team building advice.
·
Development
Participate actively in the Technical Social Policy Unit of Development Routes,
support staff planning, management and mentoring, and help build a cadre of
highly qualified and reliable social protection consultants.

To further
improve the website, support and provide the website's top statistics related
to social security so that it can strengthen its influence on international
thinking.

Guide the
design and / or support of social security training programs and provide
training on specific topics.
·
Strengthen
self-awareness and awareness of current trends in social security in southern
countries. This will include attending relevant training courses, updating the
literature and transferring knowledge to the organization.
Experience, skills and qualifications:

a master's degree in social security, international development, social policy
or economics.
